Russian Strike Near Kyiv Kills Grandmother, Grandfather, and Three-Year-Old Grandson
Four more people were injured.
"Tonight, Russian drone strikes killed three people in Pukhivka, Kyiv region: a grandfather, a grandmother, and their grandson. The boy was only three years old. Four more people were hospitalized: the child's father, his 15-year-old brother, and a neighbor who came to help the family and was wounded during a repeat strike. The victims suffered thermal burns and shrapnel wounds. My condolences. This was an ordinary residential house. The Russians could not have been unaware of this," wrote Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his Telegram channel.
There was also a strike by six ballistic missiles on civilian infrastructure in Kyiv. At the moment, one fatality is known. My condolences to the family and friends. Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, and Poltava regions were also under shelling.
"Europe, America, Ukraine have long wanted to stop this Russian war. Only Putin doesn't want to, and he clings with all his might to his ballistic missiles and drones to continue fighting. More pressure is needed. New sanctions that will prevent the production of these ballistic missiles. And certainly, more protection is needed for our people," added Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
