Belarus Drops in Global Beer Producer Ranking
According to the BarthHaas Report 2025/26, 381.5 million liters of beer were produced in Belarus in 2025. By this indicator, the country ranked 60th in the global ranking. Compared to 2024, production decreased by 3.5 million liters, or approximately 0.9%. In the previous ranking, Belarus held 58th place, writes Thinktanks.pro.

BarthHaas is a German company and one of the largest global hop suppliers. Each year, it publishes a report on the state of the global beer market and brewing industry, which is considered one of the main sources of statistics on beer production in various countries.

- Russia — 5th place (9.01 billion liters);
- Poland — 13th place (3.21 billion liters);
- Ukraine — 32nd place (1.34 billion liters);
- Lithuania — 70th place (310 million liters);
- Latvia — 111th place (75 million liters).
Global beer production decreased by 0.7% in 2025, totaling 189.6 billion liters. The five largest producers accounted for almost half of the global beer production last year — 48.5%.
China remains the leader — 35.4 billion liters, or 18.7% of global production. It is followed by the USA — 17.5 billion liters (9.2%), Brazil — 15.1 billion liters (8.0%), Mexico — 14.8 billion liters (7.8%), Russia — 9.0 billion liters (4.8%).
