Excavator Operator in Talachyn District Crushed by Excavator
The incident occurred in early August.
The excavator operator was harvesting peat in a quarry, but drove into a ditch. As a result of the rollover, parts of the machinery crushed the worker, who died.
A forensic medical examination was ordered to determine the cause of death. According to its findings, death occurred due to mechanical asphyxia as a result of compression of the chest and abdomen, reports the State Committee of Forensic Examinations.
