Near Brest, a pensioner was hit by a train
On the evening of August 12, near the Kharytony station in the Brest district, a 74-year-old man died under the wheels of a train, the Investigative Committee reports .
According to preliminary information, the pensioner was returning home from a neighboring village and crossing the railway tracks.
According to eyewitnesses, the man saw and heard the approaching train, but still decided not to stop and cross the tracks.
