Currently, internal and external finishing works are ongoing at the site, and props for future exhibitions and locations are being purchased. Not only builders are working on the park's concept, but also historians, representatives of culture and education, as well as specialists from Yanka Kupala Grodno State University.
In total, the project includes 13 thematic locations. The park will feature a town hall and a railway station, as well as buildings reflecting various aspects of life from past eras. Among them are a printing house, a pharmacy, and a photo studio.
A separate area will be dedicated to market stalls with a central square. Visitors will also be able to visit a tavern, a traditional Belarusian cuisine cafe, an ethnographic complex, and a knight school.
One of the distinctive features of «Stary Horad» will be an art object called «Clock of Time». Its creation involved using genuine parts from old printing presses and clock mechanisms. Every hour, this object will display various stories related to the history of Grodno to visitors.
Construction of the park continues, and its readiness is currently estimated at approximately 70%. «Stary Horad» is expected to open to visitors in the spring of 2027 – before the start of the new tourist season in Belarus.
