Pinsk School Alumnus Donates Modern Sports Ground
A former student of Secondary School No. 9 in Pinsk made a gift to his alma mater — he purchased and installed a workout area with exercise equipment at his own expense.
The school director Mikhail Nikolaevsky told the "Zarya" publication about the unusual present. The alumnus, who graduated from the school approximately 20 years ago, now lives in Belarus and regularly visits his parents in Pinsk. During one of his visits, he noticed that the sports equipment in the schoolyard had barely changed since his school days, and decided to rectify this.
The man fully took upon himself the purchase and installation of the equipment but wished to remain anonymous — the school director did not even meet him personally.
The total cost of the project, including installation, amounted to 45 thousand rubles.
