The search for the people has been temporarily suspended.

Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Emergency Situations has denied the discovery of the bodies of the missing climbers. According to the agency, on August 16, during search operations, the climbers' footwear was found. Previously, their backpack, sleeping bag, and other personal belongings were found, Vesti.kg reports.

Currently, the search for the missing people has been suspended due to difficult conditions and the danger associated with melting ice at the summit.

The next stage of the search operation is tentatively planned for late August or September.

Earlier, Alexander Smirnov, a member of the search and rescue team, reported that the bodies of missing climbers from Belarus and Lithuania were allegedly discovered on Kurumdy peak. They were found with the help of a drone.

A group of three climbers went missing in early August after ascending Kurumdy peak. They are 43-year-old Maksim Palyanski, 60-year-old Mikalai Svirydau from Belarus, and 37-year-old Siarhei Rubtsou from Lithuania.
