General Plans for Vitebsk, Gomel, and Mogilev Approved
The Council of Ministers' resolution on the approval of the general plans for three Belarusian regional cities was signed by Prime Minister Alexander Turchyn.

The general plans define the strategy for the socio-economic and territorial development of Vitebsk, Gomel, and Mogilev until 2035.
The documents define optimal planning structures and functional zoning of the cities, principles of environmental protection, development of the public service system, and engineering and transport infrastructure.
The general plans also envisage the creation of a safe, barrier-free, and comfortable environment for the population.
