41-year-old Belarusian Siarhei Siarmazhka disappeared in France. He has been sought for two weeks
Siarhei Siarmazhka disappeared on the evening of August 7 in Grimaud, in the Saint-Tropez area. The Association for the Search for Missing Persons (ARPD) announced a call for information and urged anyone who might know something about the man's whereabouts to contact volunteers or the gendarmerie, reports the local publication Nice-Matin.
According to the collected information, the day before, Siarhei spent the night with friends in a campsite. On Thursday, he drove to Marseille-Provence airport to pick up an acquaintance, a Russian citizen, who had arrived from northern France. After a phone conversation with a man of Ukrainian origin, he reportedly changed his plans at the last minute.
On August 7, the group went for a walk in Port Grimaud. Later, everyone headed to a friend's house. This was the last place Siarhei was seen by his companion. Roughly between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM, he walked away from the group alone. He did not have his phone or documents with him, and no one knows which direction he went. There has been no contact with the man since then.
Siarhei Siarmazhka is 41 years old. He is approximately 1.75 m tall, of normal build, has blue eyes and light, shoulder-length hair. Among his distinctive features are a dog tattoo on the right side of his abdomen and the coat of arms of Belarus (which specific one is not indicated) on his left leg. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing light grey shorts, a white t-shirt, and blue sneakers.
