On the night of August 22, in Chapayevsk, Samara Oblast, after a drone attack, the OZON marketplace distribution complex in Chapayevsk caught fire.

As ASTRA writes, just a kilometer from the burning warehouse are two large defense enterprises: JSC 'Promsintez' (a manufacturer of industrial explosives, including TNT) and JSC 'Polimer' (a manufacturer of weapons, ammunition, and explosives). Both military facilities had previously been attacked by Ukrainian missiles and drones.

Earlier, Ozon had entered the threat zone of Ukrainian drones and carried out evacuations, but as of August 22, there were no confirmed reports of Ozon warehouses catching fire.

The head of Samara Oblast, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, confirmed the Ukrainian attack. According to him, two facilities were damaged in the region: the Ozon logistics complex and one of the industrial enterprises.

He did not name the second enterprise, but Telegram channels reported a strike by Ukrainian drones on the Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery, which had previously been repeatedly targeted by aerial attacks.

As a result of the strikes, there are casualties in the region.
