American entrepreneur Elon Musk warned about the risk of humanity's disappearance due to declining birth rates.
"Humanity is disappearing," Musk wrote on his X social media page.
He reacted this way to a post by X user Freeze about the decline in birth rates in Singapore. The author of the post reported that the total fertility rate in the country decreased to a record low of 0.87 in 2025.
The publication also described Singapore's measures to stimulate birth rates.
The country's authorities provide financial support to families, increase the duration of parental leave, expand housing options, and subsidize childcare services.
Singapore's Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, against the backdrop of record-low birth rates, announced new payments, increased parental leave, and additional housing benefits.
By the way, Elon Musk has 13 children from different relationships; one child died in infancy.
