Belarusian who disappeared in Abkhazia found dead
The missing man had health problems.
During a vacation in Gagra, a resident of Baranavichy, Andrei Naumtsau, disappeared. He had been in self-proclaimed Abkhazia since August 11, writes Onliner.by.
On the night of August 19, around 2:00 AM, Andrei left the Kalipsa hotel. On Thursday, August 27, it became known that employees of the Abkhazian police found the Belarusian dead. This was reported by the search and rescue center "Orientir".
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Abkhazia was involved in the search for the 42-year-old Belarusian.
— Nothing foreshadowed his disappearance. He was on vacation with his wife and daughter, he just left the hotel at night and disappeared. His wife returned to Belarus, — journalists were told at the "Orientir" search center.
Journalists also contacted Andrei's wife, Maryna. It turned out that the missing man had health problems.
— He has a sick heart, he takes medication. We had no conflicts before this. He just went out for a walk at night and didn't return. I went looking for him but couldn't find him, after which I immediately contacted the police. They called local hospitals in my presence — and nothing. There's still no news about him.
Yesterday it became known that the man was found dead.
