Driver lost consciousness at the wheel and died on the MKAD
A fatal road accident occurred on the Minsk Ring Road (MKAD). The driver likely lost consciousness at the wheel, writes the Traffic Police Department of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
On the morning of August 28, a 52-year-old Nissan driver was driving in the outermost lane of the inner ring of the MKAD. Near the 22nd kilometer, he sharply began to change lanes into the second lane and collided with an Audi car.
The Nissan driver had to be extricated from the car with the help of rescuers. Medics performed resuscitation measures, but unfortunately, they could not save the man — he died on the spot. According to preliminary data, the man lost consciousness while driving.
