MTZ Creates Prototype Machine for Transporting People in Underground Mines
Tests will begin in the near future.
The Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ) has created an experimental prototype of a mine machine for transporting people in underground mines. This was reported to BelTA by the enterprise's press service.
This is a joint project between the enterprise and "Belaruskali". MTZ specialists visited Salihorsk, where they descended into the Berezovsky mine shaft to a depth of 425 m to study the specifics of equipment operation underground.
Tests of the Belarus MT-902 mine machine will begin at the Salihorsk enterprise in the near future.
