Mayor of Irkutsk: Trench candles can be made from baby formula cans
Newborns also "participate in helping the front," the official believes.
Irkutsk Mayor Ruslan Bolotov published a post on his Telegram channel, in which he stated that «the youngest residents of our city also participate in helping the front».
According to him, at the Irkutsk City Perinatal Center, «cans from used baby milk formulas are sent in support of the fighters». It is claimed that this was decided by the institution's staff.
Over two years, several batches of such cans have already been sent to the front. The material is good; trench candles can be made from it, Bolotov believes.
