In the Brest region, a man was detained on suspicion of pedophilia
In one of the districts of the Brest region, a 26-year-old man was taken into custody on suspicion of indecent acts against a knowingly underage person, reports the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

According to the materials of the criminal case, the man was visiting acquaintances who were raising an 11-year-old daughter. Taking advantage of the parents' relaxed attention, he approached the girl and, against her will, began to commit indecent acts against her.
Due to her age, level of mental and physical development, as well as individual psychological capabilities, the girl could not resist the adult.
After some time, she told her parents what had happened, after which they contacted the police.
The man's actions are qualified under Part 2 of Article 169 of the Criminal Code of Belarus. Taking into account the circumstances of the crime and the identity of the suspect, the prosecutor sanctioned his placement in custody.
