At the 'Beltekhkom' enterprise near Brest, a 17-year-old auxiliary worker died during tests of a supply ventilation unit.
This was reported by the Investigative Committee.
The boy worked under an employment contract.
The investigation found that he was standing near the equipment, and the air current pulled him inside.

Criminal cases have been initiated against individuals who were responsible for enforcing labor protection rules at the enterprise. The cases were initiated under Part 2, Article 306 of the Criminal Code (violation of labor protection rules, which by negligence led to a person's death) and Part 1, Article 144 (causing death by negligence).
