Planes will arrive at Mattala Airport in southeastern Sri Lanka. The closest major city to it is Hambantota.
Flights will operate once a week, on Tuesdays. The Airbus A 330-200 aircraft will depart from Minsk at 00:50. The flight duration will be approximately nine and a half hours. Economy and business class seats will be available to passengers.
The Republican Union of Tourist Organizations reminded that an electronic permit must be obtained in advance for entry to Sri Lanka. For citizens of Belarus planning to stay on the island for up to 30 days, it is free.
Sri Lanka is suitable for those who want to relax away from noisy cities, closer to the sea and nature. Possible entertainment includes barbecue on the seashore, fishing, and diving. Tourists can also see elephants in their natural habitat. There are also beaches on the island suitable for beach holidays.
