Answering journalists' question on whether a continuation of visits should be expected soon, Valentin Rybakov said: "Definitely expect it. But it's too early to talk about it."

"I cannot provide any dates or specific details, but this (the possibility of new visits) is being discussed," he added.

"The interest (in continuing negotiations) is mutual. It's no secret that Belarus holds a certain interest for the USA. The President of Belarus has repeatedly said that we are not the richest, most powerful, or largest country, and we understand our place. Nevertheless, due to a whole host of reasons, which everyone knows, Belarus is interesting to the USA. This is precisely why our process of interaction continues," added Valentin Rybakov, as reported by BelTA.

Among the main issues whose resolution official Minsk is seeking, he named the lifting of sanctions.

"We are working on this, the process is ongoing. Certain positive results in this direction have already been achieved. There is no doubt that this process will continue," he noted. "I am not ready to name any specific timeframes, as the negotiation process is complex. Nevertheless, for now, everything is developing in the direction that interests us."

It should be recalled that during previous visits of the American delegation to Belarus, large groups of political prisoners were released.

Thus, in December 2025, 123 people were released, on March 19, 2025 – 250 people. During the last release on September 16, 25 people were set free.
