The ex-political prisoner showed a video of meeting his wife and children on his social media.

"Okay, I'll show you how we met, Katsia and the kids," he captioned the video.

The co-founder of Symbal.by and the "Art Siadziba" platform was arrested in November 2021 and sentenced by the regime to 13 years of imprisonment.

A month ago, on September 16, he was released by pardon. He now lives in Warsaw.

Last week, he wrote about his imprisonment on social media.

"So, almost 5 years have passed. Hello, friends! First of all, I want to say a million thanks to everyone who wrote, helped, worried, supported, encouraged, inspired, believed, was there in difficult moments, and gave me hope to believe that I am remembered and that I won't be left there for all 13 years.

Over these years, in various cells and institutions, I met an incredible number of wonderful people who supported me and whom I supported. Some of them are already free, and many are still imprisoned.

And although it seems hard, it seems tiresome, it's worth remembering that these people, like me, live every day for years with the hope that they haven't been forgotten, that they will be helped to be released sooner.

Therefore, another huge thank you to all volunteers and organizations who continue this difficult and important work daily," wrote Pavel Bielavus.
