Miroslav's belongings were transferred to the museum on Wednesday. These include a bulletproof vest, chevrons, boots, glasses, a shirt, maps, and a white-red-white flag.
Miroslav Lazovsky was one of the founders of "White Legion" and a promoter of Belarusian culture.
After the 2020 protests in Belarus, he moved to Kyiv. Following the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, Miroslav joined the Belarusian volunteer battalion "Volat" of the Kastus Kalinouski Regiment. His call sign was "Mysh" (Mouse).
He died on May 16 near Bakhmut. A farewell ceremony was held for him in Kyiv on May 26. Last week, the Rada of the Belarusian Democratic Republic posthumously awarded Miroslav Lazovsky the Order of the Iron Knight — the highest award of the BDR.
