We're talking about the "Belkommunmash" (Minsk plant) production model, the AKSM-743, writes Blizko.by.

This experimental model, released in 2002, was the first three-section articulated tram in the history of the company with a variable floor level and increased capacity, featuring innovative drive and control schemes.

The tram is 26 meters long, weighs 31 tons, has a maximum speed of 62 km/h, and a designed capacity of 302 people.

The tram was produced in a single copy and was not mass-produced. The next development of the articulated model was the AKSM-843 with improved characteristics, released in 2008, which went into mass production.

It is expected that AKSM-743 will go to the Museum of Passenger Transport in Minsk.
