The "Solstice" Festival in Pruzhany will not take place this year

The organizers of the Belarusian rock festival "Solstice" announced the cancellation of the event in 2026. The company was not included in the corresponding register.

The reason for the cancellation of the major event was that the company is not included in the Register of Organizers of Cultural and Entertainment Events. As explained by the organizers, this means they do not have the right to hire foreign performers, including those from Russia.

“Due to the aforementioned, the rock festival "Solstice" is not planned to be held in 2026,” stated the company's message.

The organizers thanked everyone for their support over three years and expressed confidence that they will return to holding the festival in the future.

Упэўнены, што гэта толькі фармальная прычына. Насамрэч, арганізаваць рок-фестываль у цяперашняй Беларусі і не патрапіць на нейкую палітычную крыміналку, амаль немагчыма. Ну, прынамсі, вельмі рызыкоўна. Бо невядома, што могуць адчабучыць тыя рокеры, а адказваць усё адно давядзецца арганізатарам. Добра, калі проста на сцэне ці пад ёй тварамі ў падлогу не пакладуць.
