Belarusian comedian Andrey Skarokhod, who currently works for the Russian TV channel TNT, congratulated his subscribers on Instagram on the Day of Heroes of Russia.
"On this day, Heroes of the Soviet Union, Heroes of the Russian Federation, and holders of the Order of Saint George and the Order of Glory are honored. Heroes are not born, heroes are made in times of trials. Every era had its own heroes — people who courageously defended their Motherland! Today we congratulate the current hero-defenders, and also honor the heroes who gave their lives in the past for all of us!" he wrote with pathos.
This post greatly angered Belarusian singer Margarita Levchuk, who was walking with her little son in a Kharkiv park — where there was no electricity due to Russian shelling.
In an emotional story, Margarita revealed that she personally met Andrey Skarokhod in 2022 in Kyiv — even before the war began.

Margarita left Andrey a comment under that post: "Glory to Ukraine and Long Live Belarus!" — the comedian, without much thought, blocked the singer. He then generally restricted the ability to comment on the congratulation. But people came to the comments under the humorist's other videos and began to send greetings from Margarita there, as well as share their thoughts on Andrey's position.
By the way, in 2022, Belarusian security forces were interested in Andrey Skarokhod. At that time, pro-government Telegram channels reported that the comedian allegedly left an offensive comment about a "patriot woman who came to support the security forces in difficult times."
