Lukashenka again stated that he doesn't cling to power with blue fingers, but won't leave tomorrow either
Aliaksandr Lukashenka, when appointing new heads of the General Prosecutor's Office and the Investigative Committee, set the task to continue preventing any attempts of "revolutionary" struggle against his regime.

«This applies to both of you: no intentions in terms of 'revolutionary' struggle against the existing state system. For this, there are elections. You need to go to elections and solve these problems. Here in Belarus, there is everything. Especially since the current president, as I often say, does not cling to power with blue fingers,» he reiterated.
«I am a departing person. Although many have seized upon this: «Oh, he's leaving!..» Some worry, some rejoice. This doesn't mean that tomorrow we will abandon all this, myself included, and leave. But it is clear that I am no longer the person who has been president for the first or second year. This means that I will sacredly uphold the rights and interests of our people. You must work in this regard,» said Lukashenka, who has held power for 31 years.
