Nyaklyayew's Short Stories Published as Books in Polish and Belarusian
The publishing house of the Belarusian Culture Center in Białystok has announced the release of a new book by Uladzimir Nyaklyayew — a collection of short stories titled "The Holy Spring."

The publication is timed to coincide with the writer's 80th birthday. The book will be available starting April 17 at the Book Fair in Białystok in two versions: in Belarusian and Polish, writes bellit.info.
Each story in this collection is a separate narrative, but together they form a multifaceted conversation with literary tradition and modernity. Here are mystical-existential reflections on life and death, tragic-ironic images of a post-war village on the Belarusian-Lithuanian border, a grotesque portrayal of contemporary Belarusian reality, as well as other unexpected plots and intonations. Such diversity allows one to see the breadth of Nyaklyayew's creative thinking and feel how close Belarusian literature is to Polish and at the same time how it differs from it, shares translator Marcin Rembacz, reflecting on the work.
The Salon of Belarusian Independent Publishers at the Book Fair in Białystok will be open:
— April 17 / 10:00 AM—6:30 PM
— April 18 / 10:00 AM—6:30 PM
— April 19 / 10:00 AM—4:30 PM
The organizers invite everyone interested to visit the fair and purchase interesting publications.
