The practice of conducting MRI examinations at night may be introduced in the Minsk City Clinical Endocrinological Center. This was announced by Pavel Udot, a representative of the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee. According to him, the possibility of the MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) machine operating around the clock in this institution is currently being considered, BelTA reports .

Currently, such a format is already being tested in the 2nd Central District Polyclinic of Minsk. The experiment showed high demand: up to 95% of patients who register actually come for the examination. This indicates that the service is in demand.
Night MRI is available to all residents of Minsk, but only with a doctor's referral. If a person agrees to undergo an examination at night, they can come at the appointed time and have the examination done at the polyclinic.
It is noted that for some patients, this schedule is more convenient, as it is not always possible to undergo an examination during the day. In general, according to specialists, this is a common practice in many countries where diagnostic procedures are also performed at night.
For now, night MRI in Minsk is free. In the future, if necessary, the possibility of providing this service on a paid basis may be considered.
