Last year, such a march was also not allowed in the capital. Numerous attempts to register the 'Immortal Regiment' organization were also unsuccessful.
Meanwhile, in Vitebsk, the march was allowed this year — it will take place within the framework of the 'Belarus Remembers' campaign.
The 'Immortal Regiment' campaign began in Russia in 2012 as a public initiative. Later, the Kremlin adapted it for propaganda purposes.
