Hungary for the first time summoned the Russian ambassador for explanations about the war
After Russia's attack on Ukrainian Transcarpathia, the Hungarian authorities for the first time since the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine summoned the Russian ambassador to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting is expected to take place on Thursday morning, writes "European Truth".

The summoning of the Russian ambassador was announced by Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar after a meeting of the new government, which discussed the massive Russian attack on Ukraine on May 13, including on the Transcarpathian region.
The head of the Hungarian government stated that Budapest resolutely condemns the attack on Transcarpathia. Foreign Minister Anita Orbán summoned the Russian ambassador after the drone attack on the region.
It is reported that the Hungarian authorities are aware of at least five strikes. In the city of Svaliava, drones damaged a transformer and a railway station, and in Uzhhorod — an industrial facility.
Previously, under the previous government led by Viktor Orbán, the Hungarian Foreign Ministry never summoned the Russian ambassador after attacks on Transcarpathia, which was repeatedly criticized by independent Hungarian media. Many ethnic Hungarians live in the Transcarpathian region, which borders Hungary.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha thanked Anita Orbán for her quick reaction and condemnation of the Russian strikes.

- Конечно, пускай сходит. Подождите, а что значит "вызывает"? Вроде раньше Виктор не позволял себе в отношении нас подобных интонаций. Кто кому в конце концов платит?
- А это не Виктор...
