Donald Trump's special envoy to Greenland, Jeff Landry, arrived in Nuuk on Monday to "listen and learn," DR reports.
Upon arrival in Nuuk, Landry stated that he brought a message from Trump. "I spoke with him late last night, and he said: 'Go there and make as many friends as you can.' I'm here to listen and learn," he said.
Journalists asked Trump's special representative about the goals of his visit, specifically, "is there still talk about acquiring Greenland." Landry, in turn, denied this.
"I'm just here to build relationships, listen and learn, and see if there are opportunities to expand relationships between the US, Greenland, and Denmark. It's a fantastic day," he noted.
Reportedly, during the visit to Greenland, the American delegation is wearing caps with the inscription Make America Great Again.
