Imperial humor: Russian relationship guru Satya Das joked why he wants to conquer Belarus

A video, likely filmed during Satya Das's visit to Minsk, went viral on Instagram. In it, he praises Belarusian products.

— I had a museum today. I went to your supermarket. You're foolish, you don't understand what happiness you live in. And I always come and go to the grocery store like it's a museum.

The relationship guru then talked about grabbing condensed milk from the shelves.

— And there stand, you know, two idiots: "What are you talking about, everything is very bad here in Belarus! It's bad here!". Burn in hell, you idiots!

The scandalous lecturer was overcome by the next wave of love for Belarus when he saw glazed curd snacks. The sausage section also impressed him:

— Can I get political asylum? A thought occurred to me to conquer your country, you understand? To have a small territory where good people make glazed curd snacks for me. Imperial humor, imperial humor!

Within 24 hours, the video gained 365,000 views and about 22,000 likes on Instagram.

As a reminder, the wildly popular social media blogger Satya Das's real name is Sergey Yakovlev (but he doesn't like it when someone calls him that).

He was born in Ukraine (in Dnipro). After school, he enrolled in a technological college, choosing the specialty of catering technologist. Then came the army. After demobilization, the man read the book "Bhagavad Gita" and decided to become a Hare Krishna devotee. From one of his teachers, Sergey received the name he uses as a pseudonym - Satya Das.

And after 30 years, the man's star time came. He decided that he could teach people how to live correctly: how to build relationships and how to raise children.

In advertisements, Satya Das is often called a psychologist. But, as far as is known, he does not have a corresponding diploma. His website states that the man is a family relations specialist, a popular lecturer, philosopher, and writer.

Satya Das is not particularly restrained in his expressions, but his demonstrative audacity attracts millions of followers. The main page of the "relationship guru" on Instagram has 2.2 million subscribers, and on "VKontakte" - 1.9 million.

By the way, among the fans of the "relationship guru" there are plenty of Lukashenka's supporters. Artists Alyona Lanskaya, Hanna Trubetskaya and Ivan Zdanyuk, and the wife of propagandist Ihar Tur are subscribed to Satya Das's Instagram page.

Perhaps Satya Das gained his greatest fame from a performance in Russian Novgorod in 2023. At that time, he hit a woman on the head with her own purse after she decided to argue with the lecturer during the performance.

Last year, the man visited Minsk with a lecture and performed at Falcon Club Arena.
