Belarus is developing a new control system for electronic warfare — an automated command post called 'Ros', which is being created at the 'KB Radar' enterprise. The main feature of the new system is the use of artificial intelligence technologies, reported the State Authority for Military Industry of Belarus.
It is reported that this development is intended for controlling radio monitoring and radio suppression means — that is, systems that track and jam communication channels, data transmission, and satellite navigation.
The system is capable not only of detecting sources of radio signals but also of forecasting the development of the situation in the air. It can automatically select the most effective methods for suppressing signals, without interfering with its own communication channels.
'Ros' can also be used for drone detection. It receives data on the air situation, identifies drones, forecasts their route, and helps select countermeasures.
Another function is to reduce the operator's workload. The system takes over part of the calculations and analysis, allowing the human operator to focus on making important decisions.
The complex operates in real-time and can quickly adapt to changes in the radio-electronic environment, reallocating resources.
Overall, it is stated that the development should integrate various systems into a single information network, where all data — about signals, aerial targets, and own communication means — will be synchronized and simultaneously accessible.
