Kubrakov proposes to allow security forces to act without prosecutor's sanction 'in special conditions'
'The task of the security forces is to stop provocations,' — believes the Minister of Internal Affairs.

The Minister of Internal Affairs proposes to expand the powers of operational-situational headquarters. He stated this during complex command-staff exercises in the Gomel region.
'It is necessary to work out the issue so that when acting in special conditions, we could make certain decisions without the prosecutor's sanction. For this, the powers of the heads of operational-situational headquarters must be expanded. It is important to consider all legal aspects,' — he said.
The head of the MIA stressed that the task of the security forces is to stop 'provocations'.

'When suppressing mass riots, we work clearly and coordinatedly. You make the decisions, you act strictly in accordance with the law. The main thing is not to allow provocations, stopping them at the very beginning,' — stated Kubrakov.
