The incident occurred in September.

A 70-year-old woman was bitten on the leg by a snake near her home. A bluish swelling formed around the wound, and the victim felt weakness, shortness of breath, and dizziness. A neighbor called an ambulance for her.
Before the medics arrived, the pensioner had not taken any medication. Despite the assistance provided, the woman died two hours after the snakebite.
To establish the exact cause of death, an examination was ordered, reported the State Forensic Examination Committee. Experts confirmed that anaphylactic shock was the direct cause of the pensioner's death.
There were two wounds in the area of the woman's right ankle joint. According to the expert's assessment, the wounds occurred no more than 6 hours before death.
