Today, "Nasha Niva" reported that Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's security in Lithuania is not being reinstated, and she and some of the Office staff are planning to move to Poland.
The Office does not confirm this information.
"We continue to work as before. Tsikhanouskaya remains under Lithuanian protection, as before. There is no decision about a move. We are in contact with Lithuania on all security matters, if there are any changes — we will inform you," Tsikhanouskaya's advisor Franak Viachorka commented to "Nasha Niva".
The Office is currently awaiting information from Lithuania regarding a new security system. A final decision will be made after that. For now, the Office is operating as planned.
Recall that it became known in October that Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and her Office had their security level in Lithuania reduced. In connection with this, the office's work had to be temporarily halted. The final decision on the security level for the leader of the Belarusian democratic forces was unknown.
