MFA of Belarus praised Lithuania for a change in rhetoric, but no official request from Vilnius for organizing a meeting has been received
The evolution of public statements by the Lithuanian side, which has moved away from a categorical refusal of any political dialogue, was noted by Ruslan Varankou, press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

«We would like to note the evolution of public statements by the Lithuanian side, which has moved from a categorical refusal of any political dialogue to expressing readiness for contacts at the level of the ambassador-at-large,» said Ruslan Varankou.
At the same time, he stated that, «despite such a change in rhetoric in the media space, no official proposal or request for organizing a meeting through diplomatic channels has been received from Vilnius.»
