In Belarus, the mushroom season just doesn't want to end. Snow already lies in many places, but this does not stop Belarusians from going to the forest. What's interesting is that in some places there are not only late-season greenling mushrooms, but also, it would seem, summer chanterelles. A journalist from Tochka.by looked into where else mushrooms are growing in Belarus.

A Belarusian woman, walking through the Belovezhskaya Pushcha, stumbled upon summer mushrooms and was very happy. "Look, a living chanterelle! Fragrant, it smells. I can even feel it now," shares the TikToker. In her opinion, in December, "you can pick chanterelles for soup."

Users actively noted in the comments that nature is unpredictable and even "gone crazy." Some also shared that they are still going to the forest.

"I was in the forest today, walking with my dog, found about 10 pieces, Grodno," summarized the commenter.

Another Belarusian woman also shared on TikTok that she went to the forest again.

"Finally, the fog cleared in Belarus, and we went to close the season once again," the woman notes.

In an hour, she collected some mushrooms, mostly greenlings. The Belarusian woman also suggested that this is not the end and a New Year's "mushroom hunt" might be possible.
