Zelenskyy and Trump met in Florida for peace talks
A meeting between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump, began at the private residence of the U.S. President in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.

The leaders met on the porch, and their meeting was broadcast live. The meeting, which was supposed to start at 9 PM Belarusian time (1 PM local time), began almost half an hour late.
This meeting, reportedly, will be entirely dedicated to the issue of Ukrainian-Russian reconciliation and will be based on the preliminary work of the negotiating teams, who previously developed a 20-point plan.
“I don't have deadlines. My only deadline is to end the war. And we are on the path to completion,” Donald Trump said.
He is confident:
“We are in the final stage of negotiations. They will either end or drag on for a long time. Millions of people will die, and no one wants that.”
According to him, no one even knows what will be written in the security agreement, but the agreement itself will exist, and it will be strong.
As for the current meeting, Trump believes it will go great, and afterward, he intends to call Putin and "I think it won't be as difficult as it was before." He had, in fact, called Putin shortly before the meeting as well.
After brief protocol statements, the meeting transitioned to a closed format.
