Rogachev or Glubokoe, Kalduny or Draniki, Grodno or Brest? Aryna Sabalenka answered fundamental questions for Belarusians
World number one Aryna Sabalenka became the star of a video in which she had to make a difficult choice between main Belarusian brands and dishes. A blitz poll for the First&Red channel showed that the world number one remembers the taste of native potatoes.
In the battle of the main national sweets, the tennis player sided with Rogachev, choosing their condensed milk over Glubokoe's. Among confectionery manufacturers, Sabalenka preferred Minsk's "Kommunarka," leaving Gomel's "Spartak" in second place. However, Bobruisk's zephyr lost in her personal ranking to local halva.
Priorities in the potato question were interestingly distributed. Aryna unequivocally preferred draniki over kalduny. However, when the choice was between draniki and fried potatoes, Sabalenka admitted that the latter is her main weakness.
The question of choosing between Grodno and Brest was a bit more difficult, but after some thought, the sportswoman preferred Brest.
