Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda ended up in hospital, reports LRT, citing the presidency.
On Sunday, Nausėda sustained a domestic injury at home. The Lithuanian leader went to the Republican Vilnius University Hospital, where he underwent surgery for a laceration on his left forearm.
It is planned that Nausėda will remain in the hospital overnight after the operation.
