Many know the house on Victory Square as the place where the alleged assassin of John F. Kennedy lived for two years.

Minsk tour guide Pavel Dyusekov showed how this apartment looks today on his Instagram — writes realt.by.

The area of the one-room apartment at Kommunisticheskaya Street, 4, is only 27 square meters. Previously, the apartment was larger, but it was divided into two.

The current owner of the "Oswald's" living space said that her father previously owned the legendary apartment. He was very fond of the history of this place and willingly invited everyone to immerse themselves in its atmosphere.

Naturally, over time, the apartment desperately needed renovation, but the owner tried to carefully preserve the "museum" atmosphere. Even the original front door has been preserved here.

— This apartment was in great need of repair, but I tried to preserve what was there. For example, during the renovation, they offered us: "Let's install a stretch ceiling – it will be cheaper for you."

I said: "No, everything must be left as it was." And when we started repairing the walls, I saw that there were five layers of wallpaper! If I could make out the pattern, I photographed everything. And I know what wallpaper was there during Oswald's time. After him, they were re-glued twice."
