Wounded Roe Deer Approaches People in Uzda District
The animal approached people near the Slabadskoy forestry and was noticed by forestry employees.
The roe deer had a broken leg. In the wild, such an injury almost always means death, because a wounded animal cannot find food and becomes easy prey for predators.
Veterinarians managed to put a cast on the roe deer. Now it is under supervision in the forestry: it is being fed and cared for until the bones heal. After full recovery, the animal is planned to be returned to the forest.
