“A person, signed in Telegram as 'Zmitser Pankavets,' reached out to the widow of the fallen warrior Vasil 'Dzir' Rapitsky, asking for an interview. Sviatlana was interested in keeping her husband's memory alive, so she agreed to talk.
The interviewer pressed on the point that Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's office does nothing for volunteers. He expected Dzir's widow to say the same.
After that, the interlocutor asked Sviatlana for the contact of my friend Aliaksandr Klachko. Sasha cautiously asked me if I wanted to talk to him about Dzir. I said, 'You've confused me with someone else. And why would I ask for your contact when we constantly communicate anyway?' It's clear they miscalculated there," Pankavets writes.
He believes that these are Belarusian special services collecting information about Belarusian volunteers.
