Last year, emigrants transferred almost 160 million dollars to Belarus
In 2025, Belarusians received 291 thousand money transfers from abroad totaling 159.5 million dollars in equivalent. According to data from the National Bank, this is 11% more than in 2024, although the number of transfers decreased by 2%.

The average amount of one transfer increased by 14% and amounted to 548 dollars. The main part of the funds was sent to Belarus in dollars: this currency accounted for three-quarters of the total volume. Another 13% of transfers arrived in Belarusian rubles, 11% in Russian rubles, and 2% in euros.
At the same time, the amount of transfers from Belarus abroad also increased. Last year, Belarusians sent almost 105.9 million dollars, which is as much as 40% more than the year before. A total of 157 thousand such transfers were made, or 12% more than in 2024. The average amount of one transfer was 674 dollars.
