Gutenberg Publisher announced the release of Mariam Petrosyan's novel "The House That..." in Belarusian translation. The work, which tells the story of a closed boarding school for disabled children in the style of magical realism, has been sent to print, writes bellit.info.

The novel by Armenian artist and writer Mariam Petrosyan, originally written in Russian, was published in 2009, although the author began writing it in the early 90s. The work is a vivid and peculiar description of an unusual closed microsociety, revealing the problems and nuances of a newcomer's adaptation to the collective. The setting and time are intentionally abstract, with fantastic motifs playing a significant role in the plot.

This is a story about a separate world with its own laws, nicknames, hierarchy, and mysteries, existing inside the Gray House on the outskirts of the city. The House is not just a place, but a universe that either accepts or expels its inhabitants.

The book can already be pre-ordered with a discount on the publisher's website: Gutenbergpublisher.eu.
