Minsk to change its emergency medical care system. Instead of one hospital, there will be three centers
Minsk plans to change its emergency medical care system to make it more convenient and accessible for city residents, reported Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev to Alexander Lukashenko during the politician's visit to the new 42nd capital polyclinic.

Currently, the main flow of patients needing urgent care is directed to a single City Clinical Emergency Medical Hospital. This often leads to overload there.
To solve the problem, it is proposed to divide the city into three parts and create three large centers that will admit such patients.
These centers are planned to be organized on the basis of existing medical institutions. One will operate on the basis of the Center for Surgery, Transplantology, and Hematology, the second — on the basis of the 10th City Clinical Hospital, and the third — on the basis of the Emergency Medical Hospital.
The goal of this reform is to evenly distribute patients among different institutions, reduce the load on one hospital, and cut travel time for people from different districts of Minsk.
