The coin will feature a tractor, as well as an inscription dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Minsk Tractor Works.
A distinctive feature of these coins is that for the first time, cupronickel — an alloy of copper, nickel, and zinc, which resembles silver in appearance — was used for their minting.
The coins will be produced at the Gomel enterprise «Kryshtal».
The release of two types of coins is planned:
- with a denomination of 1 ruble, made of cupronickel, with a mintage of 3 thousand copies;
- a silver coin with a denomination of 20 rubles, with a mintage of 2 thousand copies.
The coins will be considered legal tender and can be used without restrictions.
