Housing and Utilities of Minsk Region Switches to Enhanced Mode from April 18 to 21
Enterprises of the housing and communal services of Minsk region will switch to an enhanced operating mode during the long weekend from April 18 to 21. Round-the-clock duty of responsible persons and operational-repair personnel has been organized for the uninterrupted operation of life support systems in cities and towns.

Duty officers have been appointed at "Housing and Utilities of Minsk Region" and at enterprises in all districts of the region.
During the holidays, 725 people will be involved in 119 emergency-restoration brigades. There will be special control over fire safety at residential and non-residential facilities.
A reserve of special equipment has been formed in case of unfavorable weather conditions.
The removal of solid municipal waste and secondary material resources will continue in normal mode.
Control over power grid facilities and fire safety will be strengthened, including fuel and energy infrastructure.
Equipment has been prepared for emergencies: 108 units of automotive equipment that will handle pumping if necessary, 117 excavators of various modifications, and 124 units of motor pumps.
For uninterrupted supply to consumers in case of emergencies, there are available: three mobile block-modular boiler houses; and 124 mobile power supply sources.
