Belarus will encourage labor migration from Kyrgyzstan
Belarus plans to attract labor force from Kyrgyzstan amid a shortage of workers in the country. This was announced in the House of Representatives by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Gennady Kazakevich.

According to Gennady Kazakevich, the total labor demand in Belarus currently stands at about 147 thousand people. At the same time, the number of labor migrants from Kyrgyzstan is still negligible — approximately 180 people.
In this regard, the parties have prepared an agreement regulating the procedure for the stay of Belarusian citizens in Kyrgyzstan and Kyrgyz citizens in Belarus. The document should simplify the procedure for legal employment and stay of people in both countries.
