The famous French actress Nathalie Baye has died. She was 77 years old. She passed away at her home in Paris after a prolonged illness, writes Le Monde. The actress suffered from Lewy body dementia.

Nathalie Baye was born in 1948, and from childhood was interested in dance, studying ballet for some time in Monaco and New York. Later, she returned to France and chose an acting career. In 1973, she graduated from the conservatory in Paris and debuted in cinema the same year.
During her career, Nathalie Baye starred in more than 90 films. Among the most famous are 'Catch Me If You Can,' 'Downton Abbey,' and 'It's Only the End of the World.' She received the 'César' award for Best Actress four times.
